Temple of Arklops

No one knows where it came from, or who built it. It has stood for ages, as far back as written history recalls. It is known as the Idol of Arklops. Centuries ago history recalls a mysterious cult that worshiped at the Idol, claiming that it was the embodiment of and ancient space god that fell from the sky, and that hands rose from the earth to catch it. Since then countless cults have come and gone from around the Idol, each building on to the original structures, creating the sprawling temple complex it is today. It is said that if the correct 'prayer' is uttered in the statue's presence, the worshiper would be blessed with divine sight and unholy power. This has never been proven, and is likely only legend, or is it?
