Historical Punishment Andrews Cross

The Andrews Cross is basically a simple device for punishment, but it has been extended and made more versatile by skilled carpenters. By rotating the handwheel, the culprit can be brought into the desired position to give the crowd various shameful insights or to find the optimal angle for the chosen punishment tool. And so the shrill shriek of a plump female thief being whipped upside down between the thighs shows how effective this punishment is, which the crowd notes with mocking laughter.
